Designing a Town Garden |
These pictures are from one of my first jobs - executed in 1997.
The owners of this town property in a historic district hired Green Art to design a charming and useful space. This yard was typical for a town property that had been worked over by generations of homeowners without ever being treated professionally. Many areas were covered with asphalt. Slopes drained towards the house foundation. There were few planting spaces and soils were depleted.
