Pool surroundings and coping |
A pool company poured this freeform pool. The landscape designer will have to find solutions to integrate the rigid object into its surrounding.
This pool appears naturally embedded into its setting. A lot of fill and soil has been added to hide the originally protruding outline on this end of the pool. |
The terrace around this pool has been built right against some upcoming ledge. |
Some rock boulders have been placed into the bluestone terrace surrounding this pool. Technically, the boulders are placed first, and the stone is cut around them. |
A coping of natural stone on a curved pool is especially challenging. |
This pool has a straight coping of heavy bluestone treads. The curved corners in the back require custom cut coping stones. |
